QuickSwitch lines need far less maintenance than conventional extrusion lines. There is no need to clean melt from nozzles and mandrels of components that have been replaced before they are stored away. Calibration systems need not be cleaned nor seals replaced. The pipehead has been specially designed to operate for a longer period between maintenance sessions. The system can produce non-stop for several months running.
